Human Error emerged from a basement in Northampton, MA in 1978 with a collection of tracks straddling the realms of no-wave, avant-garde, punk, dub, Krautrock, free jazz, and electronic music to name just a few. It began as the duo of composer/multi-instrumentalist Elliott Sharp & synthesist Luthor Maggot (of the Scientific Americans). UK expat bassist/guitarist Chris Vine soon joined.
